The end of the year is a time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. For many, that means making New Year’s Resolutions and setting a clear list of goals – kicking off the new year with a running start of fervent determination. But… one thing we want to challenge you to do more often is slow down and give yourself a break.
Something we can all easily do is set an intention for this next year. It can be as simple as practicing gratitude by starting each day thinking of things you’re grateful for, or showing mindfulness by ending your day reading a book instead of scrolling on your phone.
One thing that we can (and should) all try to do in this next year, is take care of ourselves. Doing things for yourself is easy to skip in the hustle and bustle of every day life but it’s important to slow down and make yourself a priority as well.
Our favorite way to do that? A vacation, of course!
