We had a spectacular view of Sarasota Bay (?) on one side of the unit and the Gulf (no view) was just steps away and across the street on the other side. We watched the sunrise almost every day on the bay side and the sunset over the gulf each evening. This unit was in walking distance of the Bridge Street Pier which has shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment, fishing, beautiful views! It was just perfect for us! We would definitely stay there again. We miss it so much already!
Hurricane Helene caused approximately 6 feet NAVD of storm surge that has had devastating impacts on the City of Holmes Beach that caused every ground level home to experience between one 1 to 5 feet of water intrusion.
Ordinances for a limited time to reduce the number of members of the public in the City to allow for safer, quicker, more effective, and efficient recovery efforts, and is otherwise in the best interest of the City, its residents, and citizens and for the public’s health, safety, and welfare.
This moratorium will be in effect immediately upon passage for a period of 45 days, unless otherwise extended, modified, replaced, or terminated by the Board of Commissioners pursuant to the City’s Charter.
Rental units can be used for displaced residents and construction workers over 30-day stays.
