This home was clean, had a well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels, including some very big beach and bath towels. The location on the island turned out to be in a nice quiet area only a 5 minute walk from a beach that felt private and a 10 minute walk from Bean Point beach. The pool was a nice amenity and our kids enjoyed it several times. The instructions to enter the home were very clear
Hurricane Helene caused approximately 6 feet NAVD of storm surge that has had devastating impacts on the City of Holmes Beach that caused every ground level home to experience between one 1 to 5 feet of water intrusion.
Ordinances for a limited time to reduce the number of members of the public in the City to allow for safer, quicker, more effective, and efficient recovery efforts, and is otherwise in the best interest of the City, its residents, and citizens and for the public’s health, safety, and welfare.
This moratorium will be in effect immediately upon passage for a period of 45 days, unless otherwise extended, modified, replaced, or terminated by the Board of Commissioners pursuant to the City’s Charter.
Rental units can be used for displaced residents and construction workers over 30-day stays.
